Parliamentary panel takes stock of pollution, seeks better coordination between Centre, states

The Parliamentary panel on Urban Development took stock of the pollution situation on Friday and sought better coordination between the Centre and states working towards combating this issue.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Urban Development on Friday took up the issue of pollution and sought better coordination between the Centre, states and various other agencies working towards combating this issue.

The committee further asked for appointment of nodal officers and long-term measures which can be implemented to improve the situation.
