Parliament Winter Session ends, Venkaiah Naidu says performance was below expectation

The Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha were adjourned sine die on Wednesday. Marking the end of this Parliament session, Chairman Venkaiah Naidu said the performance of the Upper House this time was below expectations.

Both the Houses of Parliament -- Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha -- were adjourned sine die on Wednesday, a day ahead of its original schedule. Before ending the Winter Session, Chairman Venkaiah Naidu and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla issued their statements, speaking about the performance of the two Houses.

Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiah Naidu said that the performance of the Upper House in the Winter Session had been below expectations.
