Only two people from outside Jammu and Kashmir have managed to purchase properties in the UT since the 2019 move, the MHA has informed Lok Sabha.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has informed the Lok Sabha that there are only two people who have purchased properties in Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370, in which the former state’s special status was removed, thus making way for people from other states to buy land.
