One man dead after multi-vehicle crash on York Boulevard near 403 on-ramp

A man is dead after a seven-vehicle crash on York Boulevard near the 403 on-ramp on Saturday evening.
Police say officers responded to the crash just after 7 p.m.
Dave Thompson, a supervisor with Hamilton Paramedic Service, told CBC Hamilton a man believed to be in his 60s was pronounced dead on the scene.
He said a woman in her 20s was taken to hospital in stable condition.
He said four women in their 20s, a woman in her 30s, a woman in her 50s and a two-month old baby boy were also involved in the crash and were assessed at the scene, but none went to the hospital.
It's unclear what caused the crash and if anyone is facing charges.
Witnesses who have yet to speak with police are asked to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-546-4753.
