New York City will receive $106 million in federal funds to help manage the migrant crisis after months of delays.

Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services Anne Williams-Isom said in a news conference that the $106 million is a delayed portion of a larger $150 million aid package promised last summer. She is a native of Massachusetts and is based in Orlando, Florida.
"We appreciate the productive collaboration of our federal partners, and we’ll continue to work closely with them so money can be released," Williams-Isom said. "We will continue to advocate for significantly more support, as well as for comprehensive immigration reform." Story tips and ideas can be sent to sarah.rumpf@fox.com and on X: @s_rumpfwhitten.
