Non-maintainable: Mumbai Police demands dismissal of Rashmi Shukla's plea at Bombay HC
India Today
Calling it "non-maintainable" at the Bombay High Court, Mumbai Police demanded that IPS officer Rashmi Shukla's petition in connection with the leaking of confidential police information be dismissed.
In an affidavit filed at the Bombay High Court, Mumbai Police said that the plea filed by IPS officer Rashmi Shukla, seeking to quash the FIR registered in connection with the leaking of confidential information about police postings in Maharashtra, is "non-maintainable". The police demanded that her petition be dismissed. Rashmi Shukla had said that as a vendetta by the Maharashtra government, an FIR was registered against her. However, Mumbai Police's affidavit stated the said FIR was registered against "unknown person" and Rashmi Shukla had erroneously proceeded on the basis that she had been falsely implicated in the case.More Related News
