Nokia C20 launch likely alongside Nokia X20, G20 at HMD's April 8 event

Nokia C20 has made a fresh appearance on the Bluetooth SIG website, which means its launch is imminent.
Nokia C20 is a part of rumours that have been floating around the internet for a while. The new phone from HMD Global will likely be an entry-level device that will replace the Nokia 1.X series. The company is probably going to scrap the old naming scheme to adopt the new one and C20 could be crucial in the grand scheme of things. And if the Nokia C20 is going to be that important, let us talk about it. HMD has a pretty simple phone family. It has been following the number pattern where 1 means entry-level and 9 means the top-end, premium device loaded with everything from the top shelf. And this naming scheme was easier to follow -- at least for me. But now rumours are rife that HMD is ditching this naming convention and going for the one that is tried and tested: using a combination of letters and numbers for phones. And that is why we may soon see Nokia C20 alongside the Nokia G10, G20, X20, and X10 at the upcoming April 8 event. Nokia C20 has made a fresh appearance on the Bluetooth SIG website, which means its launch is imminent. While the listing has not spilled much, it does confirm there are going to be at least four variants of the Nokia C20. And these variants will differ by the RAM and storage size, more than anything else. There will be Bluetooth 4.2 support on the phone, which is standard for a smartphone. And then you may see 1GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard memory on the Nokia C20. And 1GB RAM means Android Go, so the Nokia C20 will most likely run on Android 11 (Go edition). There is no information about the processor and the camera but that should change soon.More Related News
