Kuwait has said that the protesters will be deported to their respective countries as they violated the laws and regulations of the country.
The Kuwait government has decided to arrest and deport all expats, including Indians, who protested against remarks on Prophet Muhammad by the now-suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.
The Gulf nation is known to be strict with its laws, including labour laws for expats. According to an Indian journalist based in Kuwait, the government will not go soft on Indian expats.
