NHRC finds UP Govt's answers evasive, orders spot enquiry into death case of 5-year-old

NHRC has ordered a spot enquiry into death of a 5-year-old girl who died of starvation in Uttar Pradesh's Agra.

A team of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Wednesday conducted a spot enquiry into the death of a 5-year-old girl who had allegedly died due to starvation in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.

As per details, the investigation pertains to a case from August 2020, wherein a 5-year-old girl had died and the family had alleged that it didn't have money to feed the young girl, ultimately resulting in her death.
