New Zealand captain Kane Williamson has been awarded the Richard Hadlee Medal for the fourth time in six years for the Test summer he had at home.
New Zealand captain Kane Williamson has become the recipient of the Sir Richard Hadlee Medal for the fourth time in just six years. Meanwhile, newcomer Devon Conway has been named the ODI and T20I Player of the Year at the New Zealand Cricket (NZC) Awards for the 2020-21 season. Conway, who became eligible to play for New Zealand last year, made his debut in November in a T20I and went on to impress one and all against Pakistan, Australia and Bangladesh. With the kind of promise he has shown, Conway was incorporated into the ODI squad for the Bangladesh series. The top-order batsman made his ODI debut last month, against Bangladesh in Dunedin, and impressed massively having amassed 225 runs at an averaged of 75 in three innings that included a fifty and a hundred.More Related News
