MP: Bride drugs in-laws, runs away with valuables two days before wedding

A woman drugged her future mother-in-law and sister in-law two days before her wedding and ran away with goods worth more than one lakh.
A woman drugged her future in-laws and stole goods worth more than one lakh rupees in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. A complaint has been filed against her and police have started their investigation.
The accused, Aarti Bind, is a resident of Narmadapuram (Hoshangabad) who drugged her future mother-in-law and sister-in-law three days before her wedding. She mixed an intoxicating substance in their tea and ran off with the stolen goods. The two women are now admitted to a hospital.
The victim's family, a resident of Mandsaur, had not been able to find a bride for their son. They had contacted a woman named Mangala from Ratlam to help them find a girl when she introduced Bind to the family and asked for a fee of two lakh rupees. The wedding was finalised and Bind came to Mandsaur along with a woman named Pooja and a man named Arjun Prajapati.
After three days, Bind was set to get married to the boy in an Arya Samaj Temple. However, just two days before the big day, when the men of the house were out and only the two women were at home, Bind mixed intoxicating substances in their tea and stole goods worth more than one lakh rupees.
The two women were admitted to the ICU but are now stable.
The police have registered a case against the four accused under sections 420, 406, 380 and 328, and have started the search for them. The police have also taken Mangala as part of the investigation as a member of the accused gang.
