Monsoon updates LIVE: Weather department issues red alert in Rajasthan; heavy rainfall in Odisha, Bihar and other states

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
The monsoon has hit several parts of the country in an intense way, claiming several lives. Due to torrential rainfall in Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, nine people have lost their lives in two days. The eastern part of the country is experiencing heavy rainfall due to low-pressure formation over some states. Waterlogging and extensive rainfall every day has increased the issues faced by commuters. Heavy rainfall has been predicted in many parts of the state, whereas almost half of Madhya Pradesh is under an orange alert. Currently, Delhi is also under an orange alert.More Related News
