Minister of Foreign Affairs meets Chinese Special Envoy for Afghan Affairs

Doha - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met on Thursday with Special Envoy for Afghan Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China HE Dr. Yue Xiaoyong, who is currently visiting the country.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, and the latest field developments in Afghanistan, in both its security and political aspects. During the meeting, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of protecting civilians and the need to intensify the necessary efforts to achieve national reconciliation, as well as to seek a comprehensive political settlement that guarantees a peaceful transfer of power in Afghanistan, in line with the gains achieved by the Afghan people.More Related News
