Minister of Foreign Affairs holds phone call with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada

Doha - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani held on Thursday a phone call with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada HE Marc Garneau.

During the phone call, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, and the latest field developments in Afghanistan, in both its security and political aspects. For his part, HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada thanked the State of Qatar for its effective contribution to evacuating civilians in Afghanistan and ensuring their safe passage, and for its unremitting and continuous efforts in the peace process in the region.
