Marvin Harrison Jr. wants to be a Cardinal: ex-Ohio State teammate

Marvin Harrison Jr. apparently wants to spread his wings.
Paris Johnson Jr., an offensive tackle on the Cardinals who played with Harrison at Ohio State, appeared on the “Cardinals Corner” podcast last week and revealed the star wideout would like to play in Arizona as the 2024 NFL Draft nears.
“Right when I got drafted, I literally went to Marvin and was like, ‘Dude, you know you’re a Cardinal, right?'” Johnson said on the show. “I knew he was going to be a Cardinal because I saw what happened with D-Hop [DeAndre Hopkins]. I’m like, the Cardinals are probably going to want another 6-4 receiver.”
Harrison was apparently receptive to the idea.
“He said he wanted to be a Cardinal,” Johnson said when asked about Harrison’s reaction to his original comments.
The Cardinals currently hold the fourth overall pick in next month’s NFL draft — three selections behind the Bears, who acquired the top pick from the Panthers last year, followed by the Commanders and the Patriots.
The first day of the rest of Daniel Jones’ dwindling time with the Giants arrived Wednesday, with Jones in the building, in the meetings, on the practice field (although not doing very much) and not at all part of the game plan for the next game, relegated to a non-participant role for the remainder of the season.
