Manasagangotri campus in Mysuru will be witnessing a slew of launches of projects of the University of Mysore on Friday. Importantly, the University, for the first time, is offering engineering courses with the launch of the School of Engineering. Among the launches is a career hub constructed with funds from the Centre under the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA), aimed at making students employable by developing their skills. It is expected to help nearly 1,28,000 students pursuing various courses in the university and its constituent colleges, said Vice-Chancellor G. Hemantha Kumar. Minister for Higher Education, IT and BT C.N. Ashwath Narayan will be inaugurating the new initiatives at a function to be held at the newly-built Career Hub at 2.30 p.m.More Related News
