Man hospitalized in Yellowknife shooting on Sunday

A man has been hospitalized after a shooting in Yellowknife in the early hours of Sunday morning, according to Yellowknife RCMP.

The shooting occurred on 52nd Street, police said. 

Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound after receiving a call about a shooting at approximately 3 a.m. on Sunday, according to a news release from Yellowknife RCMP.

The man was transported to hospital with serious injuries but is currently in stable condition, police said.

Police say they are still investigating the shooting, and no arrests have yet been made.

The Yellowknife RCMP is asking anyone who might have video footage of Bison Estates on 52nd Street between 2:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. to share it with police.
