Lucknow’s goat market witnesses large crowds

Ahead of Eid-al-Adha on July 20, the Kudiya Ghat goat market in Lucknow was teeming with people on Monday.

A day before Eid-al-Adha or Bakrid, the Kudiya Ghat goat market in Lucknow witnessed large crowds on Monday. India Today’s team reached the market and found that most vendors and customers were not wearing masks as per Covid protocol. Speaking to India Today, 23-year-old vendor Ahmed said that very few people in the market were wearing masks since the number of cases had reduced.
