The Maharashtra government has spelled definite doom for the hospitality industry in the state, believes the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Western India (HRAWI), which was reacting to the new measures brought in place to combat the state's high caseload of Covid-19. We are doomed this time around if we are expected to be both, shut for business and not receive any relief. Shut us but do justice to the owners, staff and their families. Take care of the salaries. A day after the state government decided to shut dining except for home deliveries, the HRAWI has demanded a waiver of all statutory fees and taxes that are by restaurants. The association has also appealed for financial assistance in order to ensure remuneration of employees, owners, and their families.More Related News
