Lightning kills five of family in Jharkhand's Khunti

Lightning killed five members of a family in Jharkhand's Khunti district when they were returning home from field. In a separate incident, two women received severe burn injuries after being struck by lightning in Bhusa Toli area.

Five members of a family were killed in Jharkhand's Khunti district on Saturday after they were struck by lightning. The incident took place on Saturday evening when the family had gone to the field with a bullock. After some time, it started raining heavily and the family took shelter under a tree while returning home.
