Kochi Metro signs agreement for e-bus services, fixes feeder routes

Around10 electric buses will shortly operate feeder trips from Kochi metro stations.
In order to provide a smooth travelling experience for the passengers, KMRL has signed an agreement with Maha Voyage Group and will be introducing ten new electric buses.
The Metro authorities have decided to roll out feeder services of Kochi Metro from various stations.
As per the report by the New Indian Express, the new service will run through the suburbs of Kochi from Metro stations. It will be connected to several places, including Paravur, Cochin Special Economic Zone, Infopark, Aroor, Thoppumpady, and Tripunithura.
It will be conducted by the Clean Smart Bus Ltd. The KMRL has also issued a license for Maha Voyage Group which owns the fleet, while the service will operate under the banner of Kleen Smart Bus Limited (KSBL).
