Over the last few decades, there have been some shocking and untimely deaths of few celebrities. Popular playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, fondly known as KK, also passed away on May 31 after a concert in Kolkata.

Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, passed away on May 31 at the age of 53. After a live performance at Nazrul Mancha, Kolkata, he went back to his hotel where he fell ill. He was brought to a hospital where he was declared dead. Here are some other celebrities who left the world too soon.
KK was one of the most versatile singers in the Indian film industry. He has sung superhit numbers in several languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Bengali, among others. KK reportedly suffered a heart attack. The playback singer collapsed after the concert and was rushed to a private hospital in the city. He was "brought dead" to Kolkata's CMRI Hospital around 10 pm, hospital authorities told India Today TV. KK is survived by his wife and children.
Sidharth Shukla's body was taken to Mumbai’s Cooper hospital after he suffered a massive heart attack on September 2, 2021. He had felt uneasy the previous night and taken some medication before going to sleep. However, he did not wake up in the morning. His mother, Rita Shukla, tried to wake him up and called his sister, who lives in the same building when Sidharth did not respond. The late actor was cremated in Oshiwara on September 3, 2021. The funeral was earlier supposed to happen at the Brahma Kumaris, but because of permission issues, it took place in Oshiwara. Many of his fans and followers blocked the roads to catch one last glimpse of Sidharth Shukla. The funeral was conducted according to the Brahma Kumaris rituals.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14, 2020, at his residence in Mumbai. He starred in a number of commercially successful films such as M.S. Sridevi breathed her last in Dubai in 2018. While it was initially believed that she passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest, after her brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor told the media that it was cardiac arrrest which claimed her life, Sridevi's death certificate revealed her cause of death to be accidental drowning. The actress's body was brought back to Mumbai later where it was cremated. The Hawa Hawai girl has worked in around 300 films, and started her career when she was just 4.
Pratyusha Banerjee, who played Anandi in Balika Vadhu, breathed her last on April 1, 2016. She was 24 years old at the time of her death. The actress was found hanging at her Goregaon residence. She was rushed to a hospital in Andheri by her live-in boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh where she was declared brought dead.
