And it's back! Amitabh Bachchan's 14th installment of the popular quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, premiered on August 7. On Day 3, August 9 episode, the hot seat was graced by Hardik Joshi from Gujarat, the second contestant of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14. The young contestant is a professor of engineering and is known for his unique teaching abilities, where he sings and teaches his students. His family had come to support him in the audience. During the episode, Big B talked about getting trolled on social media.
During the episode, Big B shared how he started using social media. He said, “I was told about blogging and started writing blogs. I don’t understand these things at all. At times, I get trolled about images or captions. They give gaalis. I didn’t know that people also comment on pictures that you post. They write, ‘Kya samajhta hai apne aap ko’ and many other things that I can’t say. I have to think a lot before posting anything.”
After Hardik, Samit Sharma from Mumbai took the hotseat. He is a copywriter in an ad agency. Big B narrated his experience of working in ads. He said, “No matter how big of an actor you are and no matter how well you do, you give your take and the entire floor stays silent. The people from the ad agency, they stay quiet for minutes and no one utters a word. God knows what they study and after 15-20 mins they will notice the position of a leaf in the background is defective. The experience of the actor doesn’t matter, all they are worried about is the prop.”
KBC 14 premiered on Sunday, August 7. The first episode witnessed Big B welcoming eminent celebrities, who took over the hotseat and played the game. Those who graced the show as special guests included Aamir Khan, sports icons like Mary Kom and Sunil Chhetri along with India's first blade runner, Major DP Singh, and Mithali Madhumita, the first female officer to win the Gallantry Award.
