Kasie Hunt announces she’s leaving NBC, reportedly heading to CNN

NBC News correspondent and MSNBC anchor Kasie Hunt is leaving NBCUniversal after eight years, and is reportedly heading to CNN.

According to a report from Variety, Hunt who hosts “Way Too Early” on MSNBC and serves as a Capitol Hill correspondent for NBC News, is decamping for CNN as part of the network’s aggressive push into streaming. Neither CNN nor Hunt responded to requests seeking comment.
