Karnataka Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister K.S. Eshwarappa has said he will submit his resignation to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai in Bengaluru tomorrow evening.
Speaking to presspersons in Shivamogga on Thursday evening, Mr. Eshwarappa said that he had decided to resign to avoid embarrassment to the party and leaders.
“I am sure I have not committed anything wrong. I have faith in god and I am confident that I will come out of this episode”, he said.
He thanked the CM and leaders of the party and workers for their cooperation.
Senior BJP leader and former Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan on Saturday (November 23, 2024) said the landslide victory of the Mahayuti alliance in the Maharashtra Assembly election was historic, and that it reflected people’s mindset across the country. She added that the DMK would be unseated from power in the 2026 Assembly election in Tamil Nadu and that the BJP would be the reason for it.
