Karan Johar, Kartik Aaryan's Dostana restored! This viral video is proof

Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan were seen bonding at an award function. They seem to have let bygones be bygones.

Back in 2021, rumours of Kartik Aaryan's fallout with Karan Johar and Dharma Productions were all over the news. It all happened after reports suggested that Kartik walked out of Dostana 2 citing creative differences. Some media reports even suggested that Dharma had blacklisted Kartik after he quit the film. However, Karan did not address the rumour but Kartik Aaryan did. As of today, everything seems to be well between the filmmaker and Kartik.

At the recently concluded award function, Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan were seen talking to each other. The filmmaker and actor were also seen laughing their hearts out. A video of Kartik bonding with Karan at the award function is going viral on social media. In the video, Kartik and Karan seem to have buried the hatchet as they continued to speak with each other.

Kartik Aaryan was an integral part of Dostana 2 with Janhvi Kapoor and Laksh Lalwani. After the actor quit the film, Dharma Productions put out an official statement stating the film would be recast. "Due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain a dignified silence, we will be recasting Dostana 2," the statement read.

Meanwhile, Kartik is riding high on the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. He will be seen next in Shehzada with Kriti Sanon. The actor also has Captain India, Freddy and Sajid Nadiadwala's untitled next lined up in the pipeline.

On the other hand, Karan is gearing up for the release of his production venture, Jugjugg Jeeyo. Directed by Raj Mehta, the film is scheduled to release on June 24, 2022. Karan is also returning to direction with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
