Kahramaa signs QR63m contract with local factory to supply switchgears

Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has signed a new contract worth QR63m with a Qatari factory to supply switchgears for three years.

The contract was signed by the President of Kahramaa Eng Essa bin Hilal Al Kuwari and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Bidda Switchgear Factory Sheikh Suhaim bin Abdulaziz Al Thani. As per the contract, the factory will meet Kahramaa’s needs for switches after the demand has recently doubled due to the country’s developments and the increasing demand for electricity that accompanies it.
