‘We will hit back strongly in 2023 polls’
As political parties start gearing up for the 2023 Legislative Assembly elections, Congress leader Siddaramaiah and Janata Dal (S) leaders are back to attacking one another over their “secular credentials”.
A day Mr. Siddaramaiah described the JD(S) as a party without secular principles and one unable to form a government on its own, former Prime Minister and JD(S) supremo H.D. Deve Gowda hit back at his former party colleague.
Senior BJP leader and former Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan on Saturday (November 23, 2024) said the landslide victory of the Mahayuti alliance in the Maharashtra Assembly election was historic, and that it reflected people’s mindset across the country. She added that the DMK would be unseated from power in the 2026 Assembly election in Tamil Nadu and that the BJP would be the reason for it.
