In a bid to reduce ecological waste, a Jaipur-based organisation is creating furniture by upcycling old cars and automobile scrap.

With an aim to reduce ecological waste and promote sustainable culture, a Jaipur-based startup, Cartist, is creating different kinds of furniture from automobile scrap. Around 20 million cars are currently considered to be scrap with little awareness about how their parts can be either made use of or disposed in a manner that does not adversely and irreversibly affect the environment.
