J&K govt to review employees’ performance, retire those who are ‘ineffective’

The Jammu and Kashmir government has issued a fresh circular, asking departments to review performance of employees who have competed 22 years of service or have attained 48 years of age, and retire those who are “ineffective in work”.
The Jammu and Kashmir government has asked administrative secretaries to initiate a process to identify employees who are “ineffective in work or not fit to continue” after completion of 22 years of service or have attained 48 years of age. In October 2020, the J&K government had amended Article 226(2) of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service Regulations for a provision to retire at any time any government employee after he has completed 22 years of service or attained 48 years of age.More Related News
