A man in Colfax, Iowa, Aaron Bartholmey, has been collecting pencils since he was a child — and now, with his 70,000-strong collection, he's hoping to break a Guinness World Record.
Now, he claims to own over 70,000 pencils. Bartholmey had every one of the pencils in his collection counted by individuals from the American Pencil Collectors Society, a not-for-profit hobby organization. Maureen Mackey is managing editor of lifestyle for Fox News Digital.
