Internet for all: Andhra Pradesh villages to get digital libraries, CM says ensure uninterrupted bandwidth

The Andhra Pradesh government is constructing digital libraries in its villages. CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has asked officials to ensure that the digital libraries are equipped with uninterrupted bandwidth.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday chaired a review meeting on the progress of providing Internet by constructing digital libraries in villages.
The move comes after Internet and working from home became a necessity following the Covid-19 pandemic, starting March 2020. To fuel this rise, the Andhra Pradesh government is working towards supplying its citizens with uninterrupted quality Internet. "Enabling villages with Internet and digital libraries will help citizens make the transition to the ‘work-from-home’ model, and aid students in attending their course work online," the government said in a statement.
