India vs Sri Lanka: Bond with Shikhar Dhawan grew stronger while opening for Delhi Capitals - Prithvi Shaw
India Today
Prithvi Shaw's 24-ball 43 set the tone for India's swift chase in the first ODI against Sri Lanka as he put up an opening partnership of 58 runs with Shikhar Dhawan that came in just 5.3 overs.
India opener Prithvi Shaw said that his bond with Shikhar Dhawan grew stronger when the pair opened together for their Indian Premier League (IPL) team Delhi Capitals. Dhawan, who is captaining the Indian team in their limited overs tour of Sri Lanka, opened the Indian innings with Shaw in the first ODI on Sunday. "Shikhar Dhawan and I open together for Delhi Capitals. Although we were good friends before Delhi Capitals, but opening together has made our bond stronger. Off the field, we used to spend a lot of time together, whether it was having dinner together or chilling in his room," said Shaw on Star Sports.More Related News
