India vs England: Former India opener Aakash Chopra said there is too much “up and down” going on with regards to India’s batting order and said No. 4 is not the ideal position for Virat Kohli in T20Is.
Former India opener Aakash Chopra heaped rich praise on Virat Kohli after his masterful 77 not out in the 3rd T20I against England but pointed out that the in-form India captain should be batting at No. 3 in the shortest format of the game. Despite Virat Kohli hitting a stroke-filled 77 off just 46 balls, India slipped to an 8-wicket defeat to England in the 3rd T20I as the visitors took a 2-1 lead in the ongoing 5-match series on Tuesday. Virat Kohli was the lone warrior as India’s new-look top-order failed to get going against the extra pace of England. India slipped to 24 for 3 at the end of the powerplay but Kohli’s rescue act steered them to 156. In the end, it did not prove enough as Jos Buttler came up with a blistering 83 not out to help England gun down the total in just 18.2 overs.More Related News
