A woman, 25, hung herself at her Muzaffarnagar house, while her in-laws lined up outside the window of the room she had locked herself in to shoot a video allegedly to claim innocence.
A 25-year-old woman hung herself at her house in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar on Monday, while her in-laws huddled outside the window of the room she had locked herself in to shoot a video. According to a report, the woman's in-laws shot a video and uploaded it on social media, hoping it would go viral, to "claim" innocence. While the woman's father-in-law and mother-in-law have been arrested in connection with her suicide, her husband and brother-in-law are on the run. The latter two have been booked in the case. The incident happened on Sunday in Muzaffarnagar's Datiyana village where the woman, Komal, lived with her husband, Ashish, and in-laws. In the video, which went viral on Monday as the woman's in-laws had hoped, Komal is seen tying a noose with her blue dupatta [stole], tightening it, testing its grip before letting herself go as a man, probably her father-in-law, in the background says, "Apne aap latak rahi hai [She hanged herself on her own]".More Related News
