IMD issues flash floods warning for Jammu and Kashmir

The weather department has forecasted fresh wet spells in Jammu and Kashmir from July 19, which may cause flash floods and landslides in the region.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for flash floods in Jammu and Kashmir due to the impact of fresh wet spell expected to start from July 19. As per the weather department, lower and middle level tropospheric winds from north Arabian Sea is most likely to interact with Easterly Winds (from Bay of Bengal) from July 19 to July 21, likely causing widespread rain at most places in Jammu and Kashmir.More Related News
