An electric scooter exploded in Telangana's Siddipet. The cause of the fire was not known.
An electric scooter exploded in the early hours of Wednesday, June 8 in Telangana's Siddipet. The owner of the vehicle had parked the e-bike near his house and when the scooter exploded, the house got gutted.
The incident took place in a village in Dubbak Mandal. The owner, Laxmi Narayana, had kept the scooter for charging in front of his house. Soon after, the bike exploded. The scooter was bought four months ago.
Even though the house was burnt down, all residents of the house escaped unhurt. The reason for the fire was not known.
This comes in the wake of several incidents of e-bikes catching fire in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and other parts of the country.
