Himachal Pradesh: Israeli trekker who went missing at Hampta Pass traced

A 26-year-old Israeli trekker, who went missing on Sunday while crossing the Hampta Pass, was found on Monday.
An Israeli trekker, who went missing at the Hampta Pass between Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh, was found on Monday afternoon.
The 26-year-old trekker, identified as Ran (26), was crossing the Hampta Trek along with another trekker, Yuvan Cohan (24). While Cohan reached the Koksar area in the Lahaul-Spiti district late on Sunday night, Ran did not reach that area.
A rescue team, which included two members of Adventure Tours Operators Association Manali, was deployed to find the missing trekker.
The trekker has been traced and is currently staying in a camp, Kullu Superintendent of Police Gurdev Sharma said, as reported by news agency PTI.
The duo had started their trek from Manali in Kullu district through Hamta top towards Koksar in Lahaul-Spiti district on June 9.
