India Today
India vs England: Virat Kohli's Team India has at least 2 options for each slot in the playing XI as the BCCI announced a 20-member squad for the upcoming 3-match series against England. Suryakumar Yadav, Krunal Pandya and Prasidh Krishna got their maiden ODI call-ups on Friday.
India were without their captain, their star all-rounder and the first-choice bowling attack when they were heading into the 4th and final Test against a full-strength Australia in Brisbane. Yet, they were able to breach the fortress in Gabba and clinch a historic series win. India's envious bench strength made headlines after the triumphant campaign in Australia and the Asian giants continue to flaunt it in the series against England at home. After winning the Test series despite missing their premier left-arm spinner and first-choice pacers, India were able to try out their bench strength in the ongoing T20i series as well. The likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan and Rahul Chahar were able to get their opportunities despite earning a call-up in a star-studded squad.More Related News
