The people of Hassan woke up to the good news that Hassan-born IAS officer Suhas L.Y. won a silver medal in the Paralympics in Tokyo. The badminton player is the second Paralympian from Hassan to win silver. , won silver in the Paralympics in London in 2012. Suhas was born at Chikkamenahalli, his mother’s native place, near Dudda in Hassan taluk in 1983. He completed his primary schooling in Hassan and moved to Shivamogga later. His father late L.Yathiraj was an engineer with the Public Works Department. His mother Jayashree stays with him in Noida and his younger brother Sharath L.Y works in Bengaluru. |More Related News
