All five violent inmates who overpowered two guards during a daring escape from the Pulaski County Law Enforcement Center in Georgia last week have been captured, authorities said Wednesday.
The escapees were identified as Tyree Williams, 33; Tyree Mantan Jackson, 27; Lewis Wendall Evans, 22; Brandon Pooler, 24; and Dennis Penix Jr., 28.
The inmates were supposed to be in lockdown when an inmate attacked one of the two jailers who was talking to another inmate inside a cell shortly after 11 p.m. Friday, FOX5 Atlanta reported.
