Sudan's civil war has led to hundreds of thousands of displaced people. Over 12,000 people have already been killed in the violence that seems to be getting worse as the conflict continues at a pace.
At least a quarter of million people have fled the area in the past few days, on top of the six million who have already had to quit their homes, according to U.N. sources. Many of these have only recently run from fighting in the capital, Khartoum, to a place they thought they’d be safe.
