New Delhi: First-term MLA Bhupendra Patel on Monday (September 13, 2021) took oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. The 59-year old who was unanimously elected BJP legislature party leader on Sunday was sworn in as the state's 17th chief minister by Governor Acharya Devvrat at a ceremony in Gandhinagar. Married to Hetalben, a homemaker, Bhupendra Patel was born in Ahmedabad and has lived and worked in the city. He represents the Ghatlodia Assembly constituency and is known as a soft-spoken person who made his way up in state politics from the municipality level.More Related News
