Former Afghan President Ghani's Facebook page hacked, hacker asks world to legitimise Taliban govt

The official Facebook account of Ashraf Ghani, former president of Afghanistan, has been hacked. In a Facebook post, the hacker asked the global community to legitimise the Taliban government.

The official Facebook page of former Afghan president Ashraf Ghani has been hacked. Ashraf Ghani confirmed via a tweet that somebody had gained unauthorised access to his Facebook account.

He tweeted, "Urgent: The official Facebook page of Dr Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has been hacked since yesterday. No content published on this page is valid until the page is retrieved."
