Durand Cup: FC Goa reaches quarter-final with win over Sudeva Delhi

FC Goa became the third team to enter the quarterfinals of the 130th Durand Cup football tournament after getting the better of Sudeva Delhi FC 2-1 courtesy goals from Muhammed Nemil and Jorge Ortiz Mendoza on Monday.

Muhammed Nemil and his Spaniard substitute Jorge Ortiz Mendoza scored important goals to help FC Goa defeat Sudeva Delhi 2-1 to become the third team to assure itself of a place in the quarterfinals of the 130th Durand Cup football tournament on Monday. William scored from a penalty for Sudeva. The two sides clashed in a Group B encounter at the Salt Lake Stadium.
