DRI seizes heroin worth Rs 21 crore at Hyderabad airport

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence recovered 3.2 kilograms of heroin worth Rs 21 crore from a passenger from Zambia at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad on Monday morning.
After receiving specific intelligence inputs, officers of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) intercepted a female passenger from Zambia at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad on Monday morning. They recovered 3.2 kilograms of what turned out to be heroin, worth Rs 21 crore, from her check-in baggage. The passenger had flown to Hyderabad from Zambia via Johannesburg and Doha on a Qatar Airways flight.More Related News
