Dilip Vengsarkar said the entire episode was "unfortunate" and criticised BCCI president Ganguly for "speaking on behalf of the selectors" on why they wanted to fire Virat Kohli as India's ODI captain.
Former India cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar called out the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and its president Sourav Ganguly for the way they sacked Virat Kohli from the ODI captain's position earlier this month.
Rohit Sharma was appointed as India's ODI skipper after which Kohli made some sensational claims in a press conference before departing for the tour of South Africa.
