Delhi Police’s CyPAD (Cyber Prevention Awareness Detection) has busted an interstate gang that operated multiple fake websites of renowned brands like Haldiram’s and offered fake franchise dealerships and distributorships. Four people have been arrested and seventeen bank accounts have been frozen so far. The police investigation has revealed that the gang managed to dupe innocent business aspirants in the name of giving them the franchise of Haldiram’s, Amul, Patanjali, etc. The accused are associated with 126 cyber fraud incidents across 16 states, duping people to the tune of Rs 1.1 crore.More Related News
