The Delhi police busted a sex racket running in the Dilshad Colony area, arresting five people, including one man and four women on Thursday.
The Delhi Police formed a joint team of special staff and busted a sex racket in the Dilshad Colony area of the northeastern part of the city.
The police arrested five people, including one man and four women from the house where the sex racket was being operated.
In order to nab the accused, the police sent their constable as a decoy customer. He was sent out of the house where he met one of the accused named Darshan Saini, who told him about the girls.
Saini took him to the ground floor of the house and introduced him to a lady who introduced the decoy to three more girls and charged Rs 1,500 each.
The decoy entered the den and signalled the police team to nab the accused red-handed.
The team conducted the raid on the premises and apprehended five people on the spot. A case of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act 1956 has been registered in Seema Puri.
While five accused were nabbed, the owner of the house, Deepa, is still absconding. Further investigation of the case is in progress.
