CBSE board exam 2021 debate: What do the states want?
India Today
The fate of the CBSE board exam 2021 and the other state board exams lies in the balance as the CBSE board has offered two options if exams are to go forward. Here's what the different states want.
After a high-level meeting on Sunday between various education ministers and officials, it was decided that the CBSE board exam 2021 will be held between July 15 and August 26 amidst all Covid-19 safety protocols. The details about the format and the exam dates would be shared by Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on June 1. CBSE has proposed two options for the board exams either set exams for the main 19 subjects only and at notified exam centres, or hold 90-minute exams for all subjects at the home schools of students. As observed during the pandemic, most state boards tend to follow the route set by CBSE. Thus, the board exam options set by CBSE are also being considered for the state board exams.More Related News
